Indices of Multiple Deprivation

The Indices of Multiple Deprivation or Quality of Life Index are produced every 3-5 years and provide the framework for deprivation assessment at Local Authority and Lower Super Output area level.

The Indices of Multiple Deprivation 2015 data mostly relate to the financial year 2012/13 and was released 30.09.2015.

The documents below include a map illustrating the geographical spread of deprivation across Doncaster, showing ward boundaries. There are 194 Lower layer Super Output Areas (LSOAs) and these have been divided and shaded according to their deprivation rank into 10 equal groups (deciles). The accompanying spreadsheet details the national percentiles and ranks for each LSOA across the seven distinct domains of deprivation and two supplementary indices. The LSOAs are also grouped according to the corresponding ward in which they best fit, however LSOAs are not co-terminus with ward boundaries and so may overlap across two wards.
